Matt Reflects on the passing of John Blewett III

My memories of John started when I was a kid sitting in the turn 1 grandstands at Flemington during the mid to late 90’s. Then and still to this day he was a driver that I always paid close attention to...he was that good. Early in my driving career John was complimentary to me when racing for the first time at tracks like Wall and Oswego. He told me I was ready to race on the modified tour long before I believed that myself, that was a huge boost of confidence to my career and I thank him for that. Modified racing will miss JBIII
